Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or using the chair for support while standing up. Learn yoga poses that work for your body in a playful and mindful atmosphere. Chair Yoga encourages self-care and will help you build strength inside and out. You will have the opportunity to work on strength, mobility, range of motion, balance, and mindfulness. Props such as blocks and yoga straps will be incorporated in creative ways. Breathwork will also be included which may help to soothe your nervous system.
This class will take place at The Causerie at Victoria & Park, which has two steps to enter the building and five steps up to the yoga room. Click here for directions.
