Take a journey towards greater physical freedom and ease in everyday life, sports, and yoga in this course that goes beyond mere flexibility. If you want to change how your body works, stretching isn’t going to cut it - and this is where mobility training comes in. Sessions will include some yoga flow and a little education, but will focus on targeted and precise joint mobilization work that will give you new experiences of strength and change your range of motion.

Many of us come to yoga as a way to connect with our bodies, only to find that the poses can be extremely challenging if you’re at all inflexible. We all know that getting the “deepest expression” of a pose is not the point of yoga, but increasing your physical capacities is still a worthy goal towards living better as a human animal.

In-Person 7-Week Course Overview:

This listing is for the In-Person version of this course. This 7-week course includes 4 In-Person classes alternating with 3 weeks of online videos. All videos (plus recordings of the live classes) are yours to keep for a year.

Our In-Person classes follow strict physical distancing and cleaning protocols. We have a very large, well-ventilated room, and we are limiting class sizes to provide more than 2 metres between each mat. In the event of a second wave of COVID or any closures to our physical location, we will deliver the course Virtually. No refunds will be given for In-Person classes that must switch to Virtual-Only.

What the Course Includes:

Weeks 1, 3, 5, and 7 will be live classes attended in person. These are interactive classes with opportunities for questions/feedback and connection with your instructor and classmates. Live classes will be recorded and available online afterwards if you are unable to make the class time.

Weeks 2, 4, and 6 will be opportunities for you to practice along with specially created videos to review and build on your knowledge. You can practice these once or several times, and all the videos, including recordings of live classes, are yours to keep for a year.

Tech Requirements:

A computer, tablet, or smartphone and internet connection is required to participate in weeks 2, 4, and 6. The online platform is very user-friendly, and two days before your course begins we will provide you with instructions for getting started.
