This course is for anyone looking for nourishing ways to dial down and relax and find some mental calm. Over the seven lessons of this course, you will have the opportunity to build a toolbox of practices to support yourself in stressful times.
Restorative yoga uses cushiony props (like blankets and bolsters) to support your body in comfortable reclined poses, helping relax your body and calm your nervous system. You'll also learn gentle movements and self-massage to release tension and mindfulness practices to settle an overactive mind and renew your energy.
Virtual 7-Lesson Course Overview:
This 7-lesson course includes 4 Livestream classes plus an additional 3 lessons of on-demand video practices to do in your own time. All videos (plus recordings of the Livestreams) are yours to keep for a year.
What the Course Includes:
Every week for the first four weeks, attend live classes virtually. These are interactive classes with opportunities for questions/feedback and connection with your instructor and classmates. Live classes will be recorded and available online afterwards if you are unable to make the class time.
You will also have the opportunity to practice along with specially created videos to review and build on your knowledge. You can practice with these additional three lessons once or several times, and all the videos across all seven lessons (this includes recordings of livestreams) are yours to keep for a year.
A computer or tablet and internet connection are required to participate. A webcam and microphone are recommended in order to interact with the teacher during Livestreams. The online platform is very user-friendly, and two days before your course begins we will provide you with instructions for getting started.
