Whether you’re pregnant, recently gave birth, or have had a baby in the last decade, maintaining and regaining core strength can be a challenge. Functional core recovery is not about having six-pack abs, but being able to move with ease and properly support the spine and internal organs.
In this 7-session course you will learn key movements that will strengthen your core from the inside out, leading to a stronger, more stable middle. We'll discuss Diastasis recti (abdominal separation), pelvic floor issues, and how the muscles and connective tissue can be healed. You will also learn which movements to avoid and how to modify a yoga practice to help heal your core.
Virtual 7-Lesson Course Overview:
This 7-lesson course includes 4 Livestream classes plus an additional 3 lessons of on-demand video practices to do in your own time. All videos (plus recordings of the Livestreams) are yours to keep for a year.
What the Course Includes:
Every week for the first four weeks, attend live classes virtually. These are interactive classes with opportunities for questions/feedback and connection with your instructor and classmates. Live classes will be recorded and available online afterwards if you are unable to make the class time.
You will also have the opportunity to practice along with specially created videos to review and build on your knowledge. You can practice with these additional three lessons once or several times, and all the videos across all seven lessons (this includes recordings of livestreams) are yours to keep for a year.
A computer or tablet and internet connection are required to participate. A webcam and microphone are recommended in order to interact with the teacher during Livestreams. The online platform is very user-friendly, and two days before your course begins we will provide you with instructions for getting started.
