Studio Policies - What We're Doing to Keep You Safe
We will go through a verbal screening with you as you enter the studio, and anyone presenting with signs of illness (coughing, etc.) or not following our procedures will be asked to leave the studio. As before, staff are completing written screening questionnaires upon arrival.
We have reduced our capacity in order to meet and exceed physical distancing guidelines. Luckily we have a very spacious studio!
Limited props are available, and they will be sanitized between classes. We encourage you to bring your own props.
High-touch surfaces are sanitized between classes. Hand sanitizer is available at several stations throughout the studio.
Changerooms and water stations remain closed at this time.
Our all-gender washroom is available if needed. Please arrive ready to practice.
All sales are online only at this time.
Please contact us by email if you would like to buy any props - you can pay by e-transfer and pick them up at the studio. Get in touch with us at email@example.com
Student Procedures - What We Need From You
Complete a self-assessment before you come to the studio. Do not come to the studio if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days, or have been exposed to a known case of COVID-19.
You are required to wear a mask in the studio. Once class begins, masks are optional, as strenuous physical activity exempts you from wearing a mask.
The Region of Waterloo Mask By-Law States: Masks must be worn in all indoor public spaces. Exemptions include “A person engaged in a sport or other strenuous physical activity or a person for whom a face covering would inhibit the person’s ability to breathe.”
Note: We sometimes offer classes called “Masks-On” where the expectation is that you leave your mask on the entire time. For voice clarity, the teacher will not wear a mask, but they will stay 3+ metres away from participants at all times.
Bring your own yoga mat, pre-filled water bottle, and mask. Bring your own props if you wish.
Please arrive a maximum of 10 minutes early. Follow the one-directional flow in the studio. Fill in the mat spaces in order - farthest from the door gets filled in first, etc.
Do not enter the area reserved for the teacher in the practice room. Teachers will not be walking around or offering hands-on adjustments.
For in-studio classes, you must reserve your spot online up to 30 minutes in advance. Click here to reserve your spot.
You must cancel your reservation 12 hours in advance if you can no longer attend an in-studio class.
If it’s outside of the 12 hour cancellation window and you’re next on the waitlist, you’ll be added to class automatically if someone cancels. Once you are added, our cancellation policy applies.
